Product Description

We’ve turned a classical baseball trading card into a new print that will make a great hanging for a home bar, commercial bar or game room. The original card was done in 1910 and issued by the Nadja Caramel Company. This was the period when Mack, following a career as a catcher and a few years as manager of the Pirates, had just taken the helm at Philadelphia nine years earlier. He was about to win the World Series and a phenomenal four pennants in the next five years. However, that really was only the beginning. Connie Mack managed the team until 1951.

During that time "The Tall Tactician," as he was known, set records that still stand today. He has the most wins (3776), most losses (4025) and most games managed (7878). He was elected to The Hall of Fame in 1937. When he heard a competing manager describe the “A’s” as a white elephant, he made it the team’s symbol.

You should note that the original cards were fairly small and we have enlarged them. As a result the tiny dots have also enlarged to give it a grainy, but very antique look. It will appear almost exactly as you see it on the screen.
