The2FunAdGuyz.com started by making prints of our collected advertising posters for friends of ours. In many ways, we still make posters for our friends, just for a lot more friends. The quality question we ask: Is this a print we would give a friend?

As our business has grown, we have established a reputation for quality, but inexpensive prints. Our passion for advertising posters, historical prints and photographs means we do not cut corners whether it is our choice of printer, the papers we select or the manner in which we restore the images to their original brilliance. Our commitment to quality means we confine our business to what we do well.

LASER PRINT TECHNOLOGY: Turning vintage images-some of which are a hundred or more years old and may be faded-into vibrant prints means that we can only use laser technology to produce them. Laser prints are far superior to the ink jet method that most print makers use. We use one of the few printers capable of producing a quality, sharp image on a paper with sufficient weight and texture to handle the inks. Yes the printer and inks are more expensive than those many others use, but you will be pleased with the result.

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET: The2FunAdGuyz use the same image file to print the image as you see on screen, but without the watermark. Therefore, the quality of the image you see onscreen matches the quality of the item you receive allowing you to make an informed decision. The only real difference may be that, depending on your monitor, the item you receive may be better because Internet resolution is lower than our high print resolution. This has always been our method to ensure that our friends (customers) know they can buy with confidence.

PAPER QUALITY: The best paper for each image is another important element in producing a quality print. This is one element where one paper may not be the best for all images. In order to achieve the quality we need, we currently use three quality papers, each enhancing a certain kind of print. On each individual product description there is a paper quality section that indicates which of these three papers will be used on that print.

• GLOSSY PAPER: Most of our posters are printed on a high quality, acid-free, 100-pound glossy premium text paper that allows for maximum color brilliance and fidelity for most older images.

• SOFT CREAM PAPER: Some images need a softer, subtler, background color in order to achieve the desired effect. To achieve that goal we use a high quality, premium cream-colored acid-free paper. A smooth, level finish allows for maximum color brilliance and fidelity for older images, ultimately providing a warm and natural presentation.

• PARCHMENT EFFECT PAPER: Some images, particularly historical documents, need a deeper background color that reflects natural aging. To achieve that effect we use quality parchment-like paper that allows for maximum color brilliance for older images, ultimately providing a tempered and natural presentation.

Added Note: The acid-free designation for our papers means there will be almost no yellowing as the print ages-even after a century. This archival level of paper can be displayed for generations, particularly when framed and kept from intense, direct sunlight.

POSTER SIZE: There are several reasons why we produce prints that are 11-inch by 17-inch size or smaller. First, by reducing the size from the larger images, we are able to retain the original intensity of colors on posters that may have faded from their original brilliance. Secondly, the printer that produces the best quality on heavier weight papers uses that size. Finally, most of our customers find this size, particularly when matted and framed, is perfect for far more decorating purposes than larger prints. The exact size of both the image and the paper are stated in each product description. On all posters we leave at least a one-quarter inch border, or more, for matting and framing.

What if I want to send you a check or money order in the mail?

We can help you with that. Although we only accept PayPal® on the2funadguyz.com, we do accept checks and money orders for purchases made within our eBay® store. Please keep in mind that you can make payments from your personal checking account via PayPal® without the trouble or additional wait time of mailing us a payment. Do you accept cash for purchases made in your eBay® store?

We do NOT accept cash. We look forward to building a good relationship with you and so we want to avoid the mistakes and misunderstandings that can result from cash payments.

How soon after I pay do you ship and what happens after payment?

We ship within 1 business day of receiving payment. Please note that if you are paying via eCheck®, PayPal® withholds payment to the seller for four or more business days to allow the check to clear.

We will send you a shipping confirmation email the day your package is shipped that includes your USPS Tracking information for all First Class Mail and Priority Mail Shipments.
