ARTIST: Carl Rakeman, 1878 to 1965, created the original lithograph on which this print is based. A few years after completing this poster, Mr. Rakeman joined the United States Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Public Roads, where he completed hundreds of paintings depicting transportation events and historical themes.
